We admit, we are now addicted and love Bands Reunited, but check out this review we wrote when season one first started several years ago.

VH-1's Bands Reunited might as well be named One Hit Wonders Reunited, well that might not be fair since some of the groups had 1 1/2 hits or a few almost hits. I was excited at the prospect of this show but the first few episodes disapointed me. The high drama of the Kajagoogoo and Extreme episodes made me think the show had great potential. But then the Dramarama episode through me for a loop. I consider myself an 80's chick, but when I barely remember a group, I know the general public might not remember them. On top of that, how many people are holding out for a Squeeze reunion, even Klymaxx for that matter. What about the Jets? Or Expose? They at least had a handful of hits. What about Lisa Lisa and The Cult Jam? The Thompson Twins. Save the1 1/2 hit wonders for another show. VH-1 had a great idea with this show. They should try to reunite more big name bands though such as Guns N Roses, The Police, even Missing Persons. Several of the big groups from the 80's have reconciled, such as The Bangles, Duran Duran and The Go Go's. But their are plenty of other groups to choose from. Please VH-1, don't send us to search the Internet to learn about the groups on upcoming episodes. VH-1 Bands Reunited Official Website
