Chucky is the maniac crazed killer from the
Child's Play movies of the late 80's. Somewhere along the line
the film makers dropped the Child's Play and the movies are

Bustin' Looseis one of Richard Pryors most popular
film's of the early 80's. This film was the first movie that gave
Richard top billing. Richard stars in this film as a con man who
has a bit of bad luck. To avoid going back to jail, he gets caught
up in a plan that his parole officer has cooked up for him. He has
to drive the parole officers love interest/co-worker (portrayed
by Cicely Tyson) and a group of displaced special needs children
to the west coast. There is a catch also. The parole officer gives
Richard a strict schedule he must follow or face the possibility
of jail.
The thought of Richard Pryor and special needs kids might sound
a little strange but this movie actually works. The kids and Pryor
play off of one another. Strong language is most likely the reason
for the R- rating but this is a rather family friendly film. The
DVD has no extras and is in wide screen format. This DVD arrived
in Jan. 05' as part of the Soul Showcase collection. Other DVD's
released as part of the Soul Showcase collection include 70's classics

The 80's
Adam Sandler was Robbie Hart and the year was 1985. He was a
wedding singer down on his luck until he fell in love with Julia
(Drew Barrymore). This movie really took you bck to the 80's,
it even featured a cameo by Billy Idol. The soundtrack featured
80's favorites The Police, Musical Youth & The Psychadelic
Furs among others.
Some of
the best horror movies came from the 80's The films were so
notorious that many of the series spawned sequel after sequel.
