Deborah Foreman rose to fame in the early 80's starring as Julie in the teen romantic comedy Valley Girl. Teenage girls could identify with her character Julie who dealt with the angst of falling in love with a guy that her friends didn't accept. Deborah was named "Most Promising New Star" by ShoWest in 1986 for her charming and funny portrayal of Casey Meadows in the film My Chauffeur.

Deborah was relatively out of the limelight during the 1990's, running her own graphic design company and hand painting furniture. She was recently thrust back into the spotlight when VH-1 began airing Valley Girl in their "Movies That Rock" series. Deborah has returned to acting and has been cast in the 2002 film, The Ice Age.
